Butterflies and Moths of India website
The Butterflies of India (https://www.ifoundbutterflies.org) and Moths of India (https://www.mothsofindia.org) websites are online peer-reviewed resources, citizen science platforms, where ordinary citizens as well as working scientists participate in gathering scientific data and building this free, authoritative resource on Indian butterflies and moths. It is designed to: (a) disseminate comprehensive information on the biology of Indian butterflies and moths, (b) encourage study of their natural history and ecology, (c) gather population and distributional data in a centralized database, and (d) spread awareness about their conservation. This is the largest library of meticulously curated images of butterflies and moths of the Indian Region. Titli Trust supports the Indian Foundation of Butterflies for these citizen science platforms. Sanjay Sondhi is one of the Chief Editors for both the butterfly and moth websites.
